2007 EMI Gram: 708 - E354 Basic Crisis Counseling - FY 07

Dates:  August 13-16, 2007  

Course Information:  This course is designed to provide State Mental Health Authorities with the knowledge and tools necessary to complete the Crisis Counseling Program grant application and manage a Crisis Counseling Program during a Presidentially declared disaster.  Maximum 50 students.

Prerequisite:  None

Course Length:  4 full days. Travel days are Sunday and Friday.

Audience:  State mental health personnel who are responsible to preparing the CCP grant application following a qualifying Presidential declaration of disaster.  Enrollment is by nomination from the State Mental Health Authorities.

Location:  National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland
