  • The new G775 EOC Management and Operations classroom course supersedes all other versions of the EMI EOC course, including G275 and IS275. The Independent Study course IS-775 is now available at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/IS775.asp.
  • G194 has been replaced with the new G402 course.

Effective January 1, 2006, EMI will discontinue support for:

  • G 190 ICS Law Enforcement
  • G 192 ICS for Public Works
  • G 195 Intermediate ICS
  • G 196 Advanced ICS
  • G275 EOC’s Management and Operations
  • G 305.7 Overview of ICS
  • IS 195 Basic ICS

EMI replaced its Incident Command System (ICS) curricula with courses that meet the requirements specified in the National Incident Management System (NIMS). EMI developed the new courses collaboratively with the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG), the United States Fire Administration and the United States Department of Agriculture.

Prior to downloading any file(s), it is recommended that you establish a separate directory where you want to save the file(s). When you download the self-extracting zipped file(s), they will automatically create the individual MSWord 6.0 document files in the selected directory.

Load your Microsoft Word program and open the README.TXT file for instructions (be sure that file type is set to "ALL" or you will not see the README.TXT file.

If you do not have Microsoft Word word processing program, you can download a FREE Word Viewer to view and print the documents. There is a 16-bit version for Windows 3.1 and a 32-bit version for Windows 95 (although the16-bit version can also be used with Windows 95). Follow the instructions that will be displayed on the following screens and check the README file after activating the self-extracting zipped file. If you are not familiar with downloading, please get help from a local computer expert. Download the FREE Microsoft Word Viewer.
