Dams Sector: Security Awareness is the second course in the Dams Sector Web-based training series. The purpose of this series of courses is to provide owners and operators with information pertaining to security awareness, protective measures, and crisis management.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This course is designated as FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO) because it contains sensitive but unclassified information. The HSIN-CS Dams Portal serves as the primary mechanism with which dam and levee stakeholders exchange information, both at the For Official Use Only and non-sensitive levels, during steady-state operations. The portal, managed by the Dams Sector-Specific Agency within the Office of Infrastructure Protection / U.S. Department of Homeland Security, promotes effective information collection and dissemination among sector partners in Federal, State, and local agencies, as well as the private sector. At the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
Dams Sector stakeholders, including owners and operators, with emphasis on those seeking the fundamentals of the security awareness elements of a risk management program.
