Biographical Notes

Dr. Meir Russ received his MA and PhD from The Ohio State
University, USA and his BScEE and MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
He is currently an Assistant Professor at UW-Green Bay,
where he teaches Innovation, Strategic Management and Marketing Management in
the Graduate Program of Business Administration. He also taught recently the
Strategic Emergency Preparedness, Planning and Implementation class for the
Emergency Management, Planning and Administration Certificate Program for
University Graduate and Undergraduate credit at UW-Green Bay.
His research interests include Knowledge Management strategies and technologies
as well as the potential use of memetics in marketing. His focus is currently
on the topic of Knowledge Management strategies for Hospital Preparedness. He
was nominated for a Wisconsin Idea Fellow 2004-2005. His major interest in this
conference is in preparedness of the knowledge base in the context of emergency
management.
