This 649-paged course is intended as a senior-level "capstone" course within a Hazards/Emergency Management Bachelor Degree program. Topics include: building resilience to hazards, developing skills in formulating programs to strengthen resilience, assessing existing and emerging community conditions that contribute to vulnerability to hazards, working with and effectively communicating with stakeholders, and working as a member of a problem-solving team to lessen the future vulnerability of communities.
