EXEXCUTIVE TRAINING MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE
The Executive Training Management Certificate provides organization executives an opportunity to discuss how organizational training and development programs can impact their employees and the accomplishment of the organization’s mission and goals. A certificate of completion for the Executive Training Management Certificate will be awarded upon completion of required courses.
Application Requirements: Prospective participants in this certificate program should submit an application letter requesting enrollment in the program to NETC Admissions, 16825 S. Seton Ave. Emmitsburg, MD, 21727. The enrollment request should include a resume that outlines their position as an executive in their organization and their duties in regard to management of training. Additionally, please include a completed General Admission Application, FEMA Form 119-25-1, for the resident course required by the certificate. This form is available online at http://training.fema.gov/Apply/. Online courses may be completed via the EMI Independent Study Program located at http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp.

Leadership and Influence (IS-240)

It addresses leadership from within, how to facilitate change, how to build and rebuild trust, using personal influence and political savvy, and fostering an environment for leadership development.
Decision Making and Problem Solving (IS-241)

It addresses the decision-making process, decision-making styles, attributes of an effective decision maker, and ethical decision making and problem solving.
Strategic Issues in Training Management (E618)
This course facilitates discussion of the issues involved in translating an organization’s mission and goals to effective training and development programs. Key topics include developing professionals within the organization, long-term development and support of programs, and program evaluation.
Selection Criteria: The primary audience for this course is composed of individuals assigned to executive management duties or positions.
